Hi. I’m Tim Kimber.
I write stories.
My fiancée and I spent the first six months of 2015 travelling around south-east Asia. During that voyage, I wrote about the trip, about the books I read along the way, and a couple of short stories.
But the reason I started this blog was to document my attempt to become a published author. Those six months were an integral part of that process. I achieved focus and determination; two things I’ll need if I’m to edit this manuscript down to something that resembles a coherent story.
I’ve been writing that book for the best part of a decade, and it’s now, finally, drawing to a conclusion (or at least, the first draft has). This is both exciting and terrifying in equal measure. And I hope to complete it this year. Just writing that makes me nervous.
I’m a sub-editor by day, a freelance video editor by night, and a designer by proxy.
I’m now reading this with the voice of Dragnet’s Joe Friday. This is my blog. I carry a pen.
DUM-DE-DUM-DUM

I’m still slaving away, with more trashed pages than finished. LOL

You have a really interesting blog and I’m looking forward to read all your posts (as soon as I’m done with the final editing of my book and get some time to spare.)
All the very best for your book and I hope that’ll you’ll achieve your goal of publishing it soon!
